In 2012, founder Mike Brown created the formula and roasting process for Death Wish Coffee. He wanted a strong, bold and smooth cup, made with high-quality ingredients. We live to rebel against blah beans.
We use a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans that are carefully roasted to deliver a bold, yet smooth cup with an extra kick of caffeine. We typically recommend using 2.5 Tbsps. of coffee for each 6oz of water. Feel free to use your usual brew method though and adjust from there! If brewing a full pot, we recommend a 1:10 coffee-to-water ratio. Our coffees are free of any nut or gluten allergens and are produced in facilities that have no possibility of cross-contamination with these allergens.
Our Dark Roast features subtle undertones of dark chocolate and black cherry. Our Medium Roast offers subtle undertones of stone fruit and caramel. Our Espresso Roast has subtle undertones of caramelized sugar. All our beans are a blend of Arabica and robusta.
Our Vanilla single-serve cups have a warm, rich vanilla rounded out by notes of smooth, yet bold coffee. The Chocolate Hazelnut single-serve cups blend toasted hazelnut and rich fudge with a smooth coffee profile. The Blue and Buried single-serve cups contain homemade blueberry jam, luscious vanilla and sweet Vietnamese cinnamon. All our flavored coffees use Fair Trade arabica and robusta beans in a medium roast. The vanilla has a pleasant, sweet vanilla with low bitterness in the aftertaste. The Chocolate Hazelnut has a toasted hazelnut and semi-sweet chocolate finish. The Blue and Buried has subtle blueberry cake notes in the aftertaste.
The Death Wish Coffee Roast Variety Pack contains three different roasts - Medium, Dark, and Espresso - so you can enjoy an assortment of strong coffees every day. Our rigid single-use Death Cup capsule design is compatible with most coffee single-serve coffee machines. The premium beans are sourced from the highest quality, roasted to bold, never-bitter perfection.
